Shipping Policy

AI Art House ships one-of-one art prints worldwide. Every piece is printed to order at our production partner's fulfilment centre, then dispatched directly to you. The policy below sets out our production timelines, delivery estimates, customs handling, and what to do if something goes wrong in transit.

Free worldwide shipping

All orders include free standard shipping to supported countries. There are no minimum order values and no hidden delivery fees at checkout. Optional expedited shipping may be available in select regions at an additional cost shown at checkout.

Production time

Every piece at AI Art House is made to order. Because nothing is warehoused in advance, production begins after your payment is confirmed. Typical production time is 3 to 5 working days from order confirmation to dispatch. Custom framing adds 1 to 3 additional working days. Production days are Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays in the country of production.

Delivery estimates

Delivery times start once production is complete and the parcel is handed to the carrier. Estimates below are typical ranges and may vary at peak periods, during weather disruption, or when the destination country has customs delays.

  • United Kingdom: 3 to 5 working days after dispatch
  • United States and Canada: 5 to 10 working days after dispatch
  • European Union: 5 to 10 working days after dispatch
  • Australia and New Zealand: 10 to 20 working days after dispatch
  • Rest of world: 10 to 25 working days after dispatch

These are estimates, not guarantees. AI Art House is not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather events, strikes, or any circumstances outside of our control.

Tracking

Once your parcel has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation by email containing a tracking number and carrier link. If you have not received tracking within 5 working days of your order confirmation, please contact us at hello@aiarthouse.com.

Customs, duties, and import taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees charged by the destination country. These fees are determined by local authorities and are the responsibility of the customer. AI Art House has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. We recommend checking with your local customs office before ordering if you are unsure about potential fees.

Refusing to pay customs charges does not entitle you to a refund. If a parcel is returned to us because of refused customs, the cost of return shipping and any associated fees will be deducted from any partial refund offered, at our sole discretion.

Address accuracy

It is the customer's responsibility to provide a complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping address at checkout. AI Art House is not responsible for parcels delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer, nor for parcels returned due to incorrect or incomplete address information.

If you notice an error in your shipping address, contact us at hello@aiarthouse.com immediately. Address changes can only be made before the order enters production. Once production has begun, the address is locked and cannot be changed.

Undeliverable parcels and PO boxes

Some larger pieces cannot be shipped to PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or certain remote locations due to carrier restrictions. If an order is flagged as undeliverable to your address after production has begun, we will contact you to arrange an alternative delivery address. If no alternative is provided within 14 days, the order may be treated as abandoned and is not eligible for a refund.

Damaged in transit

Every piece is carefully packaged to survive international shipping, but damage can occasionally occur in transit. If your piece arrives damaged:

  1. Retain all original packaging and the piece itself
  2. Photograph the damage clearly, including the outer packaging
  3. Email hello@aiarthouse.com within 30 calendar days of delivery with your order number and photos

If the damage is confirmed as a transit issue, we will produce and ship a replacement at no additional cost. Because every piece is one-of-one, the replacement will be a re-production of the same artwork — the only exception to our sold-once guarantee, and strictly limited to damage claims verified within the 30-day window.

Claims made after 30 days from delivery are not eligible for replacement. Damage caused by mishandling after delivery, including during installation, framing, hanging, cleaning, or exposure to moisture or direct sunlight, is not covered by this policy.

Lost in transit

If tracking indicates that your parcel has not moved for 10 working days or longer, or if the carrier declares the parcel lost, contact us at hello@aiarthouse.com. We will open an investigation with the carrier. Once the carrier confirms the loss, we will produce and ship a replacement at no additional cost. Investigations typically take 7 to 14 working days.

AI Art House is not responsible for parcels marked as delivered by the carrier. If tracking shows the parcel as delivered but you have not received it, we recommend checking with neighbours, household members, your building reception or mailroom, and your local carrier depot before contacting us.

Refusal at delivery

If you refuse delivery of a parcel that is in good condition and matches the address on your order, the refusal will be treated as a cancellation after production. Because our pieces are made to order and one-of-one, refused deliveries are not eligible for a refund.

Changes to this policy

We may update this shipping policy from time to time to reflect changes in our production partners, carrier availability, or legal requirements. The version in effect on the date of your order is the version that applies to your order.
